Dark matter and aether objections

So lets say the aether does not interact electromagnetically. Micheson Morley disproved what? The aether goes straight through like neutrinos.

The idea was that the aether was the medium through which light moved. As light (all electromagnetic radiation) has a constant velocity (c) then that velocity must be relative to the aether.

As the Earth moves around the sun and rotates it would have a constantly changing velocity (speed and direction) relative to the aether, and therefore we would see a slightly differing speed of light (depending on the direction of motion and speed of the earth relative to the aether). No such changes were detected.

Attempts to explain this away by suggesting the aether was (fully or partly) dragged along with the Earth just require the aether to have even more implausible and contradictory characteristics.
