Suzuki previews Wagon R 2013 with a hint of hybrid claims 28.8 ...

With fuel prices sky rocketing, manufacturers are looking at alternative ways to project electric and gasoline powered cars. Japanese automakers Suzuki were at the forefront of such innovative vehicles when they presented their new Wagon R which immediately caught the attention of Japanese auto enthusiasts.

This tall hatchback will have all the advantages of the present variant of Wagon R, plus will feature an all new patented feature called, ENE Charge or energy charge. ENE Charge includes an energy saving electric car air conditioning system called ECO COOL. The vehicle is slated to go on sale this September in Japan.

Suzuki Wagon R with mild hybrid system will be a state of the art energy saving vehicle with minimum displacement internal combustion engine fitted with an electric motor or generator along with a lithium ion battery pack. As per details released by Suzuki, the new energy efficient Wagon R Mini ENE Charge with Mild Hybrid System will be able to offer about 28.8 kmpl according to Japan's JCO driving cycle.
