Eight Overseas NBA Preseason Games Next Season

With just one year left before he retires, David Stern, is determined more than ever to establish a global base for the NBA.? To do that, Stern is scheduling 8 preseason games to be played overseas in the Fall.

?Providing fans with an authentic NBA experience is an important part of our efforts to grow the game globally,? said Stern.? ?This fall, nearly a third of our teams will embark on a global tour that will celebrate the game of basketball, give our international fans a chance to connect with NBA teams and players, and leave a lasting impact in each of the communities we visit.?

Oct. 5? (Istanbul, Turkey) ? Thunder vs. Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul
Oct. 6 (Bilbao, Spain) ? Sixers vs. Uxue Bilbao Basket
Oct. 8 (Manchester, England) ? Sixers vs. Thunder
Oct 8 (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) ? Bulls vs. Wizards
Oct: 10 (Manila, Philippines )? Rockets vs. Pacers
Oct. 13 (Taipei, Taiwan) ? Rockets vs. Pacers
Oct. 15 (Beijing, China) ? Lakers vs. Warriors
Oct. 18 (Shanghai, China) ? Lakers vs. Warriors
