quick claim deed refinancing - Zillow Mortgage Advice

I recently closed a client under a similar situation with HARP (2). The lender knows a lot more than you might think. I did run the whole thing through our fraud department when I took the application and they gave it the green light with some stipulations which the borrower fulfilled.

Technically the due on sale clause was triggered when you did the quitclaim, you got lucky and never got served with a demand to pay off the loan.

It's pretty rare to need an appraisal on a HARP loan, you should ask your loan officer to double check that he's reading the findings correctly.
