?

The Skinny On The Rain

Scattered showers and storms are set up both ahead and behind the front.? The storms ahead could produce small hail and lightning for area southeast of Metroplex.? The shower and few storms behind the front are triggered by upper level energy and will be only moderate rain showers.? Showers coming to a close shortly after midday hours and skies clearing not too long afterward.

The Wind & Big Chill Story

Even with those showers and storms dotting the North Texas landscape, this is not the big weather story today.? It?s the gusty north winds for all of North Texas.? Through the evening hours, winds will be gusting 25-35 mph behind the front that is presently pushing southeast through the Metroplex.? The winds will die down during the overnight hours as the skies remain mostly clear?a great combination for big time cooling.? Expect temps to dip into the 44-49 degree range by daybreak.
